You have just joined a challenging and rewarding mathematics class at Columbia State. First let me assure you that I "love to teach" and secondly that you will be an individual in this class – not just a number. I am here to help you be successful (if you want to be). There is a quote on my door that says:

SUCCESS comes before WORK only in the dictionary!!

To succeed in this class you need to:
    Attend class regularly
    Do all homework in a timely manner
    Complete all lab assignments
    Ask questions
    Work hard to do your best

Teaching style:
    I use a combination of lecture and individual work. I usually lecture with examples and
    interactive problem solving.

What you can expect of your instructor:
    Absent very seldom
    Prepared for class
    Clear presentations
    Willing to answer questions ( in class, office, phone, etc.)
    Will accept only your best
